Angela Sun
Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, CA on the 19th of October, 1979. She is an American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and TV presenter. She has a bachelor's degree in Sociology and Communications from the University of California. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she participated in numerous pro-am tournaments. She was sponsored by major companies, including Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. This recognition was a great slingshot for her career in entertainment. Later on, she went into the field of filmmaker, reporter for investigative reporting and sportscaster. Sun has worked for many news channels mainly as an anchor. In 2003, she was an anchor for Fox Sports Net. She also hosted American Ninja Warrior alongside Matt Iseman and Jonny Moseley in the year 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. She was the first Asian American to be featured on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun is a regular in a number of films, and earned fame and praise for her acting talent. Sun has appeared in films such as Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun She wrote and directed the documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch about marine plastic pollution and the impacts on the planet in 2014, released the feature-length film.
