Angela Gossow Urach

Angela Gossow was born to Christian parents in Cologne, Germany, and was the youngest of three siblings. She was 17 when her parents split up. The financial issues continued to mount when their business went bankrupt. Being anorexic and bulimic further contributed to her problems. Gossow was very straightforward about her decision to leave ARCH Enemy as their singer. She explained, "There's a place and timing for all things." The first time I began was in the year 1991. I was simply losing my enthusiasm for doing this living a life in the open road. Therefore, I chose to slow off instead of pretending. Originally, the lead singer of the group was Johan Liiva. She was changed in 2000 to German singer Angela Gossow. In 1986, Australian singer John Farnham recorded the song "You're The Voice".
