Kari Samantha, born in 1967 is an American actress, singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer began her career as she was a teenager. Her most well-known role is for her character Maggie Beckett on the TV show Sliders, as well as in the role of her character, Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy film Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised in Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble who was employed as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. Her father was the eldest of three children. The singer was in her teens performing in clubs, escaping from the family in order to do so. She began studying acting at her 13th birthday at Wooster School. Kari started acting when she was a teenager, and her first TV appearance was on 1987's MTV's Remote Control.
