
Julie Ellen "Tawny", Kitaen, was an American model, actress and media persona. She was born on May 7, 1961, to May 7, 2021. She began her career as a television actor, appearing in the television movies Malibu (1983), California Girls (1985). She also starred as Gwendoline in the comedienne film the Land of the Yik-Yak (both 1984) as well as Bachelor Party (1985). Kitaen was well-known for her performance in metal music videos that featured heavy metal such as Ratt's "Back for More", Whitesnake "Still of the Night", and "Is This love" (all 1987). Kitaen also appeared on reality television shows including Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) and The Surreal Life (2006) which explored Kitaen's issues with addiction to drugs. Julie Kitaen was born in San Diego, California, in 1961. Kitaen is the youngest of three kids to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) who was a housewife, one-time beauty contest participant and Terry Kitaen. Kitaen works for a company that makes neon signs. Kitaen was the daughter of a Russian-Jewish dad and an Scottish mother. Kitaen was educated Jewish. She was first able to use the nickname "Tawny" when she was 12 on her own initiative. She suffered from dyslexia in her early years and was kicked out of Mission Bay High School. [7] When she was fourteen, she was given backstage access to the Peter Frampton concert at Balboa Stadium.[8] She witnessed Penny Frampton getting special treatment and determined to follow in her footsteps.
